Turning Small Spaces into Big Opportunities: My First Pop-Up Shop

Ever dreamed of running a pop-up shop but don’t have a storefront? That was me—until I turned a secondhand TV hutch into a rolling pop-up shop for Perch + Paper. Perch + Paper Goes Mobile: My New Pop-Up Shop!

From Hutch to Pop-Up: My Rolling Shop Experiment

What happens when you mix a secondhand TV hutch, a heavy-duty garden wagon, and a little too much enthusiasm? You get the Perch + Paper Mobile Pop-Up Shop! With a few coats of paint (okay, more like three), a pegboard, some spray-painted wire baskets, and a very sore wrist, I turned an old piece of furniture into a rolling shop—just in time for my first pop-up event in Manzanita! I’ll be set up outside Cloud & Leaf Bookstore this Saturday, March 29th, rain or shine (but let’s be real—it’s Oregon, so probably rain). I’ll be cozy under the covered porch, sipping tea, and hoping you stop by to browse journals, prints, and paper goods!

Curious about the transformation? Want to see what this little wagon-shop looks like in action? Read the full story, check out the before-and-after photos, and get all the DIY details in my latest post!
